very dear friend,
Merry
Christmas to you! This is a wonderful and great holiday for the West, for Europe
and America, the holiday for family reunions, for lights on the streets, for
Christmas trees, for these good old times we still have memory of. Do not feel
ashamed of celebrating it, of enjoying your family get-together, of
old-fashioned Yuletide. If – and I hope you do celebrate – it is a heroic act,
as heroic as it was in 1942, and your celebration is an act of defiance, act of
resistance against the dark forces who want to destroy our
world.
The world we know rapidly degrades into dark ages; our enemies advance every year with their plans of total domination of man. Since we began to publish these letters in 2001, Iraq went down, Gaza and Bethlehem are besieged, thousands of American houses are repossessed, France and Germany came under the enemy’s rule. Russia is going through a period of great uncertainty; new totalitarian laws are being enforced all over the West. Family is under attack, church is pushed hard, our food and our thoughts are being taken over. In these days of dying freedom, of growing despair – lit lights, join your families and your friends, restore the broken fabric of society, go to your local church, bless all with Merry Christmas, for the Child is born unto us.
